Proposals for the re-structuring of Sussex Adult League Cricket

The Sussex Cricket Board has released a paper presenting options for developing the present adult league structure across the county. This is in response to findings from the 2013 ECB National Club Strategy review and the more recentĀ 2014 National Cricket Playing Survey which identify changing social behaviour and other circumstances that are affecting player participation levels.

The SCB has now placed the relevant links on the Sussex County Website. From here you will have access to the Adult League Consultation paper which sets out the background and rationale behind the proposals.

Worthing Cricket Club is strongly encouraging all of our players playing in the Adult Leagues to read this material and to take part in a Player Survey.

The Sussex County website link includes links to the survey questionnaires; please ensure that you complete the survey for the league in which you play most of your cricket:

Sussex County League 1st XI

Sussex County League 2nd XI

WSICL Division 1 to 5

WSICL Division 6 to 10

The closing date for the Survey is 5th January, 2015.
