Junior Application for Participation in Open Age Cricket

    Juniors from U13’s upwards (and U12 County players) are eligible to play Open Age (Senior) Cricket.

    All Juniors wishing to play Open Age Cricket must be formally registered with Worthing Cricket Club.

    In accordance with ECB guidelines, players who wish to play in this category of cricket must have parental permission to participate. The ECB Guidelines on Junior Participation in Open Age Cricket can be found here.

    Club Changing Policy

    For players under the age of 16 playing in adult teams, the following policy applies:

    • Juniors should arrive for matches in their ‘whites’ and should shower and change at home
    • A sign on the door will indicate if an adult is using the changing room. In these circumstances juniors should use the toilet in the bar area
    • Mobile phones must not be used in the changing rooms by either adults or juniors

    Team Selection

    Team selection is communicated early in the week prior to each match.

    Matches are played across Saturday afternoons/evenings and are subject to a £5 match fee.
