Annual Junior Subscription and Gift Aid

For all age groups, an annual Junior Subscription is payable to the club which covers all match fees and training sessions; £64 for Individuals and £100 for Family.

The Annual Subscription includes a voluntary contribution of £54 (individual) or £90 (Family). If you are a UK taxpayer, the club can recover tax from your donation under the Government Gift Aid scheme. Gift Aid is a UK tax incentive to facilitate tax-effective giving by individuals to charities or community amateur sports clubs (CASCs) like Worthing Cricket Club

For your payment to be eligible for Gift Aid you must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year that is at least equal to the amount of tax on all charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that will be reclaimed on your gifts for the current tax year. Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. Worthing CC will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you donate.

The club can claim back tax that would otherwise go to HMRC. In the current tough financial climate with rising pitch fees etc, this additional income is vital to help the club maintain its programme while mitigating against future price increases to members.

To Gift Aid your payment, please tick the box and provide the name and address of the donor:

Address of Donor (if different to above)

Please notify Worthing Cricket Club if at any time you:

  • Wish to cancel your Gift Aid declaration
  • Change your name or home address
  • No longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains

(If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your ‘Self Assessment’ tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code).

Further details are available on the HMRC Gift Aid website
