Worthing Cricket Club has been awarded the English Cricket Board (ECB) Clubmark standard. The ECB uses this standard to promote development of the club infrastructure nationally, to make the sport safer, stronger and more successful. Clubmark is awarded to clubs that achieve and have succesfully proven higher standards of safety, fairness, coaching and management, demonstrating minimum operating standards in safeguarding and protecting children, quality coaching, equal opportunities and good management. In short, a club that qualifies for Clubmark is recognised as a well run club which is both active and accessible, getting the best out of young people and giving everyone a sporting chance.
